Project 1: Orbit
A massive particle orbiting a black hole is given an assortment of
initial data and the resulting orbits are examined.
Project 2: Star
The relativistic hydrodynamic equations for a star in hydrodynamic
equilibrium are investigated. The star is taken to be a polytrope,
viz. the pressure depends on the density through a power law of
exponent lambda. The constant of proportionality can be rescaled to
one due to scale invariance of equations.
A parameter search in central density and the equation-of-state power law
exponent lambda is conducted.
